Introducing The Crowd and the King Series

Hello readers!

My name is Laide Ashiofu, a laboratory scientist by day and now, a debut author. Thank you for reading this post. I am excited that my first book of many is finally hitting the shelves.

The Crowd and the King series is a collection of fascinating and thought-provoking retellings of Bible stories for children and those who love them. My vision is to create stories that anyone who reads can relate to, and learn from.

The first installment of this series will release on December 13, 2021. It’s titled The Short Guy, the Crowd, and the King and it is based on the biblical story of Zacchaeus.

Zacchaeus always fell short in many ways and no one thought he could ever change. One day, as he went about his business, something caught his attention. Curious, He drew near to the crowd that gathered a short distance away. Little did he know that his life was about to change forever!

This beautifully narrated book provides a powerful reminder that God’s grace extends to everyone and anyone. Written in a fresh and authentic voice from diverse perspectives, it will surely delight and inspire kids and those who love them.
